Shaun is living an outrageously boring and mediocre life, what's worse is that his girlfriend broke up with him. One morning after the devastating breakup he woke up to see a London literally being surrounded by the living dead! (but took him a while to notice). In Shaun's efforts to get back his girlfriend, he and his best friend Ed set out to save Shaun's mum, step-dad, girlfriend and flatmates and bring them to a safe and isolated place, the Winchester Pub.
