Clockwork Orange

This is an old classic film by acclaimed director Stanley Kubrick. Clockwork Orange is a story set in futuristic Britain where violence and rampage has taken over. Alex, a member of a violent gang spreads havoc throughout Britain where he does unimaginable acts of violence. He gets caught by the cops and is sentenced indefinitely, but the government offers him a deal to shorten his sentence with the condition that he admits himself to the "aversion therapy" wherein its goal is to get the participant to detest all acts of violence. Alex gets out of prison, but what's next for someone who doesn't like violence in an world full of it?

The Departed

Two cops from South Boston, Billy and Colin are caught between an Irish mobster Frank Costello. Billy is a cop placed undercover and becomes the Irish mobsters second man while the other, Colin is the mobsters man inside the police force. They do not know each other but both have their own agendas living their secret identities. Though there is another person aside from them who is being an informant to the mafia boss and they feel like they are being watched.

Burn After Reading

An agent named Osborne Cox is fired from the CIA because of his drinking problem, so he decides to write a memoir of his work during his time in the service. Meanwhile Osborne's wife, Katie, wants a divorce because she is engaged in an affair with a US Marshall, Harry Pfarrer (George Clooney). Upon breaking the news and with the lawyer present, Katie burns a CD from Osborne's computer containing valuable government information. Katie leaves the CD in the gym and two gym attendants, Chad (Brad Pitt) and Linda, find it. They blackmail Osborne for money but he is most unreceptive so they decide to take it to the Russians instead.
